Kelowna Made Fashion Show ❤ August 26

It brings me great sadness that due to our climate crisis and the Kelowna, British Columbia wild fires, the Kelowna Made Fashion Show has been canceled. My heart goes out to the fire fighters, wild life dislocated, evacuated families and homes lost. The scale of wild fires and lives affected by climate change is not normal. Hundreds of fires are burning across Canada. My view of lower mainland Coquitlam from my home is engulfed in a dark orange haze; the air hurts my lungs when I breathe. First Nations and other communities have recently been displaced from Yellowknife and the North West Territories. The time is now to take bold action to save Mother Earth.

Kelowna Made dedicated hundreds of hours towards this event. A huge thank you to my models and the Kelowna Made Fashion team and CEO Erikka Moojelsky with AesthetiKs LAB for her hard work putting this event together.

This blue bird dress I made will go down the runway another time. May we meet in a happier and safer space in the future.

Love to Kelowna

Perfumer’s Word: “I created this perfume to clothe every woman in exquisite femininity, as though each of my gowns were emerging, one by one, from the bottle.” François Demachy, Parfumeur-Créateur ~ Dior

On February 12, 1947, founder Christian Dior presented his very first Couture collection and his first Miss Dior perfume at the 30 Avenue Montaigne in Paris.

Miss Dior Original is the very first fragrance by Christian Dior. Its avant-garde green chypre floral accord revolutionized perfume and embodies the perfection of the couturier’s mark.

It is a special day to celebrate over 70 years of creative passion, avant-gardist vision and quest for excellence.

Thank you to around the world for continuing to embody Christian Dior's vision of beauty

Silk Face Masks

up·cy·cle

/ˈəpˌsīkəl/

Upcycling is known as creative reuse.  It is the process of transforming by-products, unwanted or useless materials into new products of greater quality that provide artistic and environmental value.

Because of its smoothness, silk and cotton is kind on the skin.  It also doesn’t absorb as much moisture as other fabrics, making it less susceptible to odors.

These 3-layer 100% silk upcycled face masks are not only stylish, but comfortable on your face throughout the day.
